American Humane Alliance
Denver Pet Partners joins forces with American Humane in order to advance their human-animal bond initiative. Our Goals
Increase knowledge of the value of the human-animal bond and the effectiveness of animal-assisted activities/therapy. Enhance the services of the healthcare and education communities by increasing the rate of healing and preparing children with important life skills. Improve the information available to healthcare and education professionals on the utilization of trained therapy animals as a viable treatment modality. Facilitate Delta Society’s Pet Partners program through licensed Instructors and Evaluators conducting handler training courses and animal-handler team evaluations to assess for skills and aptitude for being an effective volunteer therapy team.
