Denver Pet Partners is a registered affiliate of the national Pet Partners® and a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We provide information and
education on animal-assisted activities/therapy and the
services of trained volunteer handler-animal teams to enhance the healing and
learning process for people in the metro Denver and surrounding areas.

- Increase knowledge of the value of the human-animal bond and the effectiveness of animal-assisted interaction
- Enhance services of the healthcare, education, and child welfare communities by increasing the rate of healing and teaching important life skills
- Educate professionals how to incorporate trained therapy animals as a viable treatment modality
- Conduct courses and evaluations for those who wish to volunteer with their pet, teaching them how to do so safely and effectively
- Advocate for the voiceless and ensure humane standards are the guiding principles for how therapy animals are treated
