_Membership in DPP is open to Delta-registered handler/animal teams as well as to those who believe in our mission and simply wish to support DPP.  Handlers must first be a Delta Society Pet Partner in good standing before joining DPP. You may join Delta with or without a pet. You must also agree with and exhibit behavior which is consistent with our mission, vision, and core values.

DPP is a community of people dedicated not only to the very important mission of helping people heal through animal-assisted interaction, it is also a community of people dedicated to one another and to doing what it takes for the greater good of the team.  This means that members are committed to being an active contributor to the success of DPP and demonstrating a willingness to pitch in when needed.
