_Animals enrich our lives. Denver Pet Partners provides information and
education on animal-assisted activities/therapy and provides the
services of registered animal-handler teams to enhance the healing and
learning process for people in the metro Denver area. Our work motivates
rehabilitation patients to walk again, children in special education
classrooms to learn important life skills, facilitates counseling
sessions in a mental health center and takes away the loneliness of
residents in long-term care facilities. Our work also gives animals a
very important job to do. It’s a win-win!
