DU IHAC Eductional Event for DPP Members

Once again, our friends at the University of Denver Institute for Human-Animal Connection (IHAC) have invited us to join them for an educational event involving their graduate students in the Animal Assisted Social Work program. During these events, students and DPP handlers hear guest speakers and share experiences and learn from each other. The students enjoy hearing about our experiences with Animal Assisted Activities and our handlers who have attended past events have found it very interesting to hear about the work the students are doing and their vision for implementing AAA in their work.

This Fall’s event is scheduled for Monday, November 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at DU. More details will be coming, but be sure to save the date.
